It chiefly differs from M. macrocarpa, its most morphologically similar species, in having smaller flowers and considerably fewer stamens and carpels per flower. In addition, a new combination is made for another species of Miliusa also occurring on the Indian subcontinent: M. dioeca (basionym: Uvaria dioeca). The two species as well as M. macrocarpa are placed in the previously recognized M. campanulata group. The names U. dioeca and its heterotypic synonym M. wallichiana are lectotypified.10aINDIA10aMalmeoideae10aMILIUSEAE10anomenclature10aSYSTEMATICS10ataxonomy1 aChaowasku, Tanawat uhttps://annonaceae.myspecies.info/node/494000675nas a2200193 4500008004100000245010600041210006900147490000700216653001600223653002600239653002500265653001700290653001500307100002300322700002200345700002500367700002100392856006800413 2012 eng d00aCharacterization of Hubera (Annonaceae), a new genus segregated from Polyalthia and allied to Miliusa0 aCharacterization of Hubera Annonaceae a new genus segregated fro0 v6910aMalmeoideae10amolecular systematics10aOld World floristics10aPaleotropics10apalynology1 aChaowasku, Tanawat1 aJohnson, David, M1 aVan der Ham, R W J M1 aChatrou, Lars, W uhttp://www.mapress.com/phytotaxa/content/2012/f/pt00069p056.pdf
