New species from Tanzania (again!)
All the new species of Annonaceae I have described to date come from Tanzania. I guess this isn’t a coincidence. Tanzania has a huge amount of diversity and a lot of it is still waiting to be described.

Today "Revison of the African genus Hexalobus (Annonaceae)" was published in Systematic Botany. This stems from the master degree work of Marleen Botermans, so congrats to her!
Detailed species information is already availible for the following genera, taken from the lastest revisions:
Isolona, Monodora, Mwasumbia and Hexalobus.
